I am a retired professor of social work from West Chester University of PA where I taught for 25 years.  I have over 30 years of experience as a licensed clinical social worker with my own psychotherapy practice. I founded the Institute for Human Resources, Inc. to help individuals obtain the resources they need to enhance their lives.

I have experience working with people of all ages and stages of life.  I have helped individuals and families based on a strength based and spiritual perspective.  I have specialized in women’s issues, grief and loss, student issues, veterans with PTSDS, and individuals in all stages of transition as part of my life mission, I founded IHR as a way to help individuals obtain life skills, education and training, and support to move forward in their lives.

I have spent most of my career in nonprofit work, helping people in need.  I have provided life coaching job readiness training and specific skills for high school, college students and underemployed/unemployed individuals   I left nonprofit to fulfill a need in society with aging seniors, and I founded Compassionate Senior Companions, Inc. which provides services to help older individuals age with dignity and independence at home.

I continued my education and completed professional coach education to enhance my skills and resume my work as a coach, so as to empower individuals and families to look within and recognize inner strengths, set goals, and take action.

I am the mother of four children, and grandmother to one beautiful grandson.  When not working, I spend time with my family and my four dogs.
